3. Brilliant collection of The Doors singles in strong chronological order, great sound, and most of all impressive 3rd disc containing compilation. The sound of blu-ray audio is simply wonderful, but on my system I only hear 2 channels, more detailed than stereo, but there is no /5().

4. While, I generally like a more organic sound in most of my music, but this band (even more so than early Eurythmics) manages to make detached sound sexy and alive. The lead singer's voice is instantly recognizable in every song and unlike most 2 cd releases, it left me wanting more. Happy 25th year!/5().

5. Jan 23,  · This could have been a 2xLP album. No? 19 minutes per side (instead of of this 3 disc) is sure enough fidelity. I would have split the album side differently. Future Days would have ended the first. If the mastering/source could be better, why try to pump up the grooves when you don't have to. I don't have anything against a double 12" EP/5().

7. May 05,  · You’re right seems to me that when cd’s came out, artists/bands tended to have a lot more tracks per album (~avg. of , as opposed to ~avg. of tracks per cassette/vinyl)than on the previous formats, which to me justified the ~$14 cd cost (as opposed to the ~$ .

8. I have always enjoyed picking up CD singles of the better chart music and trying music I have not heard before but my local HMV has for some reason stopped stocking the top 40 and new releases. Is there somewhere online where I can order the latest CD singles AND see the equivelent of the 'new realeases' section which is updated weekly.

9. However, unlike the last album, which released 4 singles, this release only had 2. The Rampant "Down On The Corner" and it's B-side, the foreboding "Fortunate Son". Those two tracks are the best the album has to offer, but "It Came Out Of The Sky" is a down right fun track that would have worked great as a single.
