Of the three “Boogie House Tapes”, vol. 2 is the only one to feature music post-Bob Hite (all of the second disc), it’s nice R n’B, but there’s none of the innervation of Al Wilson, or even Bob Hite. I would imagine the main reason for Canned Heat fans for buying this album is the Al Wilson material, most notable the four hospital tracks.4/5(13).
